History
Originally 9 Pembrey Road, this home was built sometime before 1907. It was first inhabited by the Hansell family, as evidenced by a 1907 newspaper obituar listing of Mrs. Hansell's sister, saying visitation would be at their Pembrey residence, although they originally came from Montgomery County. It's also shown as extant on a 1908 map of Haverford Township. In 1909, her eldest son, John, died of a heart attack. The father in the family, also John, was deceased prior to the 1910 census.

It's unclear of how accurate the record is, but Katharine Burruss is listed in index to deeds as having taken over the home in 1957. Following her death in 1994, the home was sold to contractors in 1998 to subdivide the lot to build 212 East Park Road, and the original home was sold to the McCormick family for $174,000, who themselves sold the home in 2005 for $419,000.
